Our story
Fixing What's Actually Wrong: Nothing More
We're a family auto shop on Firestone Blvd in South Gate, and our reputation is built on one simple habit: we tell you the truth about your car. More than one customer has come to us with a repair list from their dealer, only to find out all they really needed was a tire rotation.
Gabriel and the team diagnose first, explain what we find in plain language, and quote fair prices before any work starts. We keep the shop spotless — customers notice the plants — because we want you to feel as comfortable here as you would anywhere else you trust.
Whether it's an electrical gremlin, a transmission question, or routine maintenance, we treat every car like it's our own, and every customer like someone we want to see again.
- No upselling: we only fix what's actually broken
- Clear, honest diagnostics before any work begins
- Clean, welcoming shop
What customers say
“Came to A&D auto repair South gate for my ford fusion rear lights that did not turn off. Gabriel took a look at it and within 2 hours he had the problem solved. Such a honest guy. Def recommend him to everyone!”
“My first time at A&E Auto. I came with a list of repairs that my dealer told me were necessary. After A&E took a look at my car they said all I needed was the tire rotation. They let me know when they estimated I'll need the other work done which is like 10,000 miles from now! The business is also spotlessly clean; everything in its place and lovely plants. I am in my new right place for Car Care. Thank you A+D!”
“No one likes having to visit the mechanic, but thankfully it's always a positive experience here. My car is always in good hands. They're honest and the prices are not insane. Even better, they work quickly! 100/100 I recommend them to anyone who needs a mechanic.”
