Our story
Metal Fixed Right, No Excuses
A1 Fabrication & Welding has been Sacramento's go-to metal shop near Myrtle and Auburn Blvd for walk-in repairs and custom fabrication. Bring in a broken lamp base, a cracked boat trailer fender, or a job that needs an engineer's sign-off, and Jerry, Bill, Jared, and P.J. will get it handled — often while you wait. We don't just weld what's in front of us. When a job calls for it, we'll work directly with your engineer, build test pieces to confirm the design before committing to a full run, and stand behind the fit and finish of every piece that leaves our shop. With a 4.9-star rating from 27 Google reviews, our customers keep coming back for the same reason: fast turnarounds, fair work, and a crew that treats every job — big or small — like it matters.
- Same-visit repairs — in and out in minutes for simple jobs
- Custom fabrication built and tested to engineer specs
- Open 6 AM–2:30 PM, Monday through Friday
What customers say
“A1 Fabrication was professional and helpful. They quickly finished my welding project while I waited! The welding was perfect. Although it is a bit hard to find (Approx. Myrtle and Auburn Blvd) It was well worth the service and fair pricing of the work that they deliver. FIVE STARS!!!”
“Walked in and was greeted by Jerry and a co-worker. Jerry did a magnificent job welding a broken lamp base. I was in and out in 10 minutes. This repair saved me hundreds of dollars. I will be back for any metal work and/or welding needs in the future.”
“I was referred to Bill by another professional. Bill responded to my call and stopped by my project soon thereafter. He was kind enough to call the engineer and make necessary corrections. Bill, Jared and P.J. are all professional, and genuinely great guys.”
