Our story
A Hayward shop built on straight talk
Advanced Auto Repair and Tires is a Hayward auto shop run by Carlos, the owner and lead mechanic. Customers keep coming back because he explains what's wrong with a vehicle, breaks down the cost before any work starts, and stands behind the job once it's done.
We've handled everything from same-day headlight replacements and routine oil changes to major maintenance on vehicles decades old, plus tire service and cooling system repairs when a car starts running hot. Mike, our head of management, makes booking an appointment simple.

What customers say
“Carlos was great from start to finish. We needed our headlights replaced and we got same day service! Price very reasonable and highly recommend, great customer service.”
“Very great shop, and honest work. Carlos the main mechanic and owner followed through and made sure my vehicle was fixed and also made sure of any concerns I may have had. Would recommend this shop to anybody looking for a fair price and professional work. Carlos gave me a breakdown of what the work consist of and also what the out the door price was, which was great to know that shops are still accountable and making it easy to trust a qualified mechanic. Also Mike, head of management, was very easy and outgoing, made it really easy to come in and set up an appointment.”
“5 stars from the start. I called around 11am requesting a quote for an oil change. Carlos got back to me with a quote right away breaking down the cost. I was so impressed by the transparency that I decided to make an appointment. Carlos took care of me from the start and made me feel like a valued customer. I will recommend this local gem to all my Hayward folks. It is hard to trust some auto shops but this one is different.”
