Our story
Straight Answers, Real Repairs
At Advanced Automotive Repair, owner Eddie Loredo and his crew handle everything from a stubborn check engine light to a full engine rebuild. Customers count on us for diagnostics that actually find the problem, even on vehicles old enough to predate modern OBD systems.
We built our reputation on straight talk and fair pricing. Whether it is tracking down an overheating issue, prepping a car to pass smog, or rebuilding an engine after a cracked head, we explain what is wrong and what it costs before any work begins.
Every engine rebuild is backed by a two year, 24,000 mile warranty, because getting you back on the road with a repair that lasts matters more than a quick patch.

What customers say
“No one else could, or would, do the needed engine diagnostic analysis on my pre OBD1 '94 Chevy van. Eddie had not only the right equipment and adapters, but knew how to use them! I got like a 6 page print out, that combined with his experience, pointed to the Injectors. I replaced them, and problem fixed, smog passed! Thanks Eddie!!”
“The owner Eddie and crew of mechanics are very knowledgeable and reliable they fixed the overheating and other problems of my car on a reasonable time and price I'm very satisfied thank you Eddie Loredo!”
“My first experience here I give an A+. Eddie Is the best!! He cares about his customers and is honest. He does quality work, but at very reasonable prices. I highly recommend Eddie at Advanced Auto & Smog. This is the only place my car will ever go to get repairs done from now on.”
