Our story
Fair, Honest Auto Care In Stockton
We're a full-service auto repair shop on S Wilson Way in Stockton, handling everything from state smog checks to brake jobs, oil changes, and engine diagnostics. Customers tell us again and again that they came in wary of the usual shop runaround and left with a clear explanation, a fair price, and a car that actually got fixed.
We've replaced water pumps, rotors, oxygen sensors, and brakes, and every job starts with telling you what's wrong in plain language before any work begins. No pressure, no upsell, no surprise charges when you pick up your keys.
A lot of our regulars know our lead mechanic simply as "the Machine" for how reliably he turns cars around. They bring every vehicle they own back to us, and that kind of repeat business is the thing we care most about protecting.
- Upfront pricing, no hidden fees
- Plain-language explanations before any work starts
- Smog checks and general repair under one roof
- Customers return with every car they own

“The machine is the greatest. Honest and upfront. Does fantastic work and youre not waiting around forever. He has my business for as long as hes working on cars. He has fixed my breaks, rotors, oil change, and an o2 sensor. Dont go anywhere else just go see the machine!”
“Absolutely love this Shop! Machine is the greatest! I have brought every car I ever had to Machine and he has NEVER failed me. This shop is so Trustworthy, dependable, Reliable & great customer service. I truly love doing business With Affordable Auto Repair & will continue doing business with them! Thank you Machine for all you do && keeping me above water so I can keep going.”
“I was skeptical at first because I went alone and I am a female and many shops do take advantage. They fixed the water pump from my car and finished it within a day, also gave me great tips on my tires etc at no charge. Staff is very kind and caring and also the man at the front desk. This shop does not over shop and gives you an affordable price! I truly recommend and I would go back for any other mechanic needs.”
