Our story
Straight Answers, Fair Prices
Al's Complete Auto Repair keeps South El Monte drivers on the road with straightforward diagnostics and repairs done right the first time. We handle everything from routine maintenance to specialty work like suspension and lift kit installs. We don't believe in scaring customers into repairs they don't need. Every job comes with a clear explanation of what's wrong, what it costs, and why: our pricing is built to compete, not pad the bill. One customer had us install a full Bilstein 6112 lift kit on a 2019 Tacoma for roughly half of what another shop quoted. Most of our customers find us through word of mouth, and it shows in a 4.4-star rating built from real work for real neighbors.
- Upfront, no-pressure pricing
- Plain-English repair explanations

What customers say
“The best of the best. Al is so genuine and literally connects and listens to you. He won't advise unnecessary expenses on my car and his price is just right to match elsewhere. I would highly recommend him over any other car mechanic in El Monte.”
“Al was absolutely awesome! Best experience I've had with a mechanic, seems very honest and upfront. Gave full details on everything so that I would understand. Fixed the issue very quickly and really worked with me on the price.”
“Al did my 2019 Tacoma lift with 3/2 Bilstein 6112 for half of Rotor88's charges. The timing is a little longer, but the quality is exceptional. I would highly recommend this place if you wish to save at min 50% over the other place.”
