Our story
The body shop Salinas keeps recommending
Cal Collision is a collision repair shop on Abbott Street in Salinas. Most of our work starts the same way: someone got rear-ended, the car they love is damaged, and they need somebody who will treat it like their own. That is the standard Mario and the team hold themselves to on every repair. We handle the insurance side so you do not have to. Our customers regularly tell us Sergio picked up the phone, called the other driver's insurance company, and stayed on the line until he had every piece of information needed to start work that same day. When your car is finished, it goes back to you clean and looking like new. Thirteen Google reviews, 4.9 stars, and the same names coming up again and again, Mario, Sergio, Boy, Jorge, Jerry, because the people who do the work are the people you talk to.
- Owner Mario does the paintwork himself
- We deal directly with the insurance companies
- Cars are washed and detailed before pickup
- Repairs finished faster than customers expect
What customers say
“After meeting with the owner Mario, I felt comfortable taking our baby to Cal Collision! Mario is an extremely talented painter and is very professional but more importantly he is a good human being! In the end we felt like our expectations were exceeded. We 100% recommend Cal Collision!”
“They did an amazing job. I took my car here after I got rear ended. They washed my car after fixing her & made her look so pretty. She looked like a brand new car after they were finished with her. Sergio took very good care of me. They were all extremely pleasant, professional, & very quick.”
“Sergio really went above and beyond what I was expecting from an auto body shop. He did more than my insurance company. He contacted the other person's insurance company and stayed on the line until he got all the pertinent information. I definitely recommend this body shop.”
