Our story
About Canyon Automotive Repair
Canyon Automotive Repair is a Santa Clarita auto shop built on a simple idea: tell customers the truth about their car, then fix it right. Owner Valis has built his reputation one oil change, brake job, and repair at a time.
We know the auto repair industry has a trust problem, and we built this shop to be the exception. Customers tell us again and again that they never feel pressured into services they don't need, and that when something isn't urgent, we say so.
From routine maintenance to more involved repairs, we treat every car like it's the only one in the shop that day, whether it's your daily driver or the one you only take out occasionally.

What customers say
“I discovered Valis last year, and I've been coming here ever since—especially after some frustrating experiences with Pep Boys. Valis is incredibly nice, trustworthy, and reliable. On one of my appointments, I was running a few minutes late and he was already waiting for me outside—just one example of his professionalism and dedication. Highly recommend this place!”
“Valis of Canyon Automotive Repair was been my mechanic since 2013. Always care and asked how's my family doing. He is sincere, trustworthy and reliable.”
“Highly highly recommend, especially if you are a girl and constantly worried about being talked into paying for unnecessary additional services. You don't have to worry about that here. Valis is very honest and has true integrity in his work. Very grateful for his reliable service on all my oil changes and brake replacements.”
