Our story
Honest Work, Built Over Decades
Castillo's Auto Repair is a family-run shop in South El Monte where the same mechanic, Leo, has been working on customers' cars for decades. Customers describe knowing his work for over twenty years, some driving from as far as Fontana just to keep bringing their cars back to him.
What keeps people coming back isn't just the repair, it's the straight talk. Customers consistently point to Leo's honesty: he tells you what's actually wrong, gets it fixed right, and doesn't try to upsell work the car doesn't need.
We treat every car like it's a neighbor's, because most of the time, it is.
- Same trusted mechanic for decades
- Known for honest, no-upsell pricing
- Loyal customers return from out of town
What customers say
“Leo is the best!!! Very knowledgeable. Works wonders with all automobiles. I have lots of confidence in his work. I've know Leo worked on my parents car when I was 14yrs old, I am now 37... so basically 23yrs of knowing his work.. every time I have problems with my car I know I can trust Castillo's auto repair!”
“The big homie Leo is a excellent mechanic. My family and i have been going to him for years!! I moved to fontana and still drive out here to him. He doesnt lie to you and try to rip you off like other mechanics. Good karma has his shop full of customers”
“They do great work, at a good price. They've always been upfront and honest with me. Been coming here for years.”
