Our story
A family shop for people who work out of their trucks
Castro Bros Mobile Service is a family business in Merced, run by owner Sergio and the crew alongside him. We work on trucks and trailers all day, every day but Sunday, and we treat every one of them like it has a load waiting on it — because it usually does.
We're mobile, which matters when the truck can't come to us. Customers have called from 70 miles out toward the mountains with a major brake failure, and we've sourced the part, made the repair on the spot, and brought the truck back to the shop without a tow bill attached.
We keep current diagnostic software and tooling for newer motors, we quote honestly, and we keep you updated while the work is happening. Every review we've ever received is five stars, and we'd like to keep it that way.

What customers say
“I've been bringing my trucks to Castro Bros Truck Repair for a long time, and they always do excellent work. Sergio, the owner, is a great guy—honest, knowledgeable, and truly committed to taking care of his customers. The team works efficiently and always keeps me updated on what's going on with my trucks. Their service is reliable, their pricing is fair, and I never have to worry about the quality of the repairs.”
“I had a major brake failure on my truck about 70 miles away towards the mountain range. Sergio was able to secure a axel for me install it and had the truck back at his shop without having to get a tow truck. They are a family business and work very well with each other.”
“Good people and solid work. Had me back on the road quick and didn't try to overcharge me. Hard to find honest prices like that anymore. Definitely appreciate the help and would come back again.”
