Our story
Repair and Body Work Under One Roof
We handle both collision repair and everyday mechanical work out of our shop on South Coast Highway, so customers do not have to bounce between a body shop and a mechanic. Bumpers, panels, brakes, engine trouble, we take care of it here.
We tell customers straight what a car needs and what it does not. When a job is bigger than expected, we call before we start, and we work to get vehicles back on schedule, even for drivers just passing through Oceanside on a road trip.
Most of our business comes from people who came back a second and third time, and from their friends and family after that.
- Collision and mechanical repair in one shop
- Straightforward pricing, no surprise add-ons
- Helps out-of-town drivers get back on the road
- Built on repeat customers and referrals
What customers say
“The repairs were done in a timely manner, a great job at a fair price. I would highly recommend Central Automotive for all your repairs.”
“I'm from Texas and came out to spend Thanksgiving with my daughter. On the way back I had a few problems come up. There was no way I could go back, but Sam was a great help in getting my situation taken care of where other mechanics probably would not have.”
“Sam was extremely accommodating when I called after one of my cylinders was misfiring. He looked at it immediately the next morning and offered me a competitive price for parts and labor.”
