Our story
Tracy's Neighborhood Garage
City Garage has been fixing cars in Tracy for as long as most of our customers can remember. We're a full-service, independently owned shop on W 11th Street, and the same faces greet you at the counter and under the hood.
Our mechanic Angelo has a reputation for straight answers, whether that means checking the oil before assuming the worst or giving an honest opinion on a used car before you buy it. We'd rather tell you what a repair actually needs than run up the bill.
From check engine lights to climate control repairs, we work on the everyday problems that keep Tracy drivers off the road, and we get people back on it as fast as the job allows.

What customers say
“The lady said she could not get me in for a week, but just then the phone rang for Angelo and he came out. He looked at the paper in her hand and said have you checked the oil. I said yes, but it was down a quart and he said, "pop the hood" and out he came and he filled it up. Cleared the code. He said that you should be good to get home. I was so relieved. I got home safely! Thank you, Angelo. You are an angel indeed!”
“We stopped in to get Angelo's opinion on a used car and he took time out of his day to look at it and give us his professional opinion. He helped a couple of clueless ladies buying a little used car for our Son/Nephew. Very friendly and will definitely be back!”
“Took my Mercury here to replace the blend door actuator and was very satisfied with the service. Estimated price was half of what I expected and was repaired in a timely manner. Would recommend this shop to anyone and I'll be sure to bring any other of my vehicles here if necessary.”
