Our story
A Shop People Send Their Friends To
E & M Auto Body is a family-run shop on Market Street in San Diego, led by Emilio and his wife. Most of our customers arrive the same way: referred by a friend, a detail shop, or a neighbor who wouldn't take their car anywhere else. We handle collision repair, insurance claims, rust repair, repaints, and detailing — and we treat every vehicle like it's one of our own. Customers tell us their cars come back looking brand new, and often cleaner than when they dropped them off. That's why we hold a perfect 5-star rating across 81 Google reviews, and why so many people bring us their second, third, and fourth vehicles.
- Family-owned and operated by Emilio and his wife
- Perfect 5-star Google rating across 81 reviews

What customers say
“Roof was rusted from moisture under the wrap. Had Emilio fix the rust, Go from Red to Gloss Black. It turned out Absolutely Perfect. Price was more than reasonable. Was referred here by a friend that has 4 of his cars here and they did not disappoint.”
“I've been going to this shop for a few years now, since it was suggested to me by my detail shop. They've done work on four vehicles of mine, always top notch customer service and work. Highly recommended, Emilio and his wife will take good care of you.”
“This is my second time going to E & M Auto Body through an insurance claim and wouldn't go anywhere else. The customer service is excellent. Their work is promptly, efficiently, and expeditiously. The couple in charge is very courteous, so helpful and always surpass expectations regarding work, detail and customer service.”
