Our story
The shop El Monte keeps coming back to
El Monte Auto Services is a car repair and maintenance shop at 11400 Valley Blvd, run by owner Steven with a crew of ASE-certified mechanics. Customers tell us the same thing again and again: they get upfront pricing before the wrench turns, and the final bill matches what they were quoted. We handle everything from oil and transmission fluid changes to catalytic converter replacement and CAT shield installation. When a job needs a little extra time or an extra step, our mechanics do it — and more often than not, that extra work doesn't cost you extra. We're open six days a week, 8 to 6, Monday through Saturday. Our work in the community includes servicing vehicles for the El Monte Police Department, and our 4.4-star rating across 64 Google reviews reflects the repeat customers who now bring us every car they own.

What customers say
“The owner Steven always give me upfront pricing, before any work start. This way I won't get any surprise cost later. The mechanics there go above and beyond their works and highly knowledgeable. Many times extra work they put in didn't cost me extra. Now this is the only car repair shop I bring my car to fix.”
“Was recommended by a friend; in addition, this is an awesome place, and really good prices too. Straightforward, honest, and got the parts necessary for my car to get fixed; also, the work was done in a really good timely manner. Faster than I'd anticipated, and well done too.”
“I bought the shield from Amazon and decided to go to El Monte Auto Services for installation. The mechanic is very nice and we had a good chat. At any rate, the job was good and the price was good. I am going to get my family's other cars installed with the shield at this exact same shop.”
