Straight Answers and Fair Prices on Every Repair

Elias Brakes & Tires is a fixture on Oxnard Street in Van Nuys, run by Raymond and a small crew who treat every car like it belongs to a friend. Customers come in expecting the usual runaround and leave surprised: no pushy upsells, no scare tactics, just a clear answer about what the car actually needs.

We built our name on second opinions. When another shop told one longtime customer she needed all four brakes and rotors replaced, we took the time to show her exactly what to look for instead, and the work turned out to be unnecessary. That is the standard here: safety issues get flagged clearly, cosmetic ones do not get inflated into repairs nobody needs.

From brake jobs and tire repairs to the occasional stuck trunk latch, we handle whatever a Van Nuys driver brings through the door, with the kind of patience and respect that keeps people coming back for years.
