Our story
A Shop You Can Actually Trust
At Fred's Auto Repair on North Blackstone Avenue in Fresno, we do things the old-fashioned way: we look at your car, tell you plainly what's wrong, and give you a fair, transparent estimate before any work begins. No upselling, no surprises, just clear explanations and repairs done right.
Our customers tend to stick around. Families bring us their cars for years, some for more than a decade, because they know the work will be finished on time and priced reasonably. Fred works on the cars personally, and that hands-on care shows in every job.
We're open six days a week, Monday through Saturday, so it's easy to get your car in when it needs attention, whether that's a routine oil change or a major repair.

“The car repair was completed on time, just as promised, and the pricing was very reasonable. It's hard to find a shop that delivers both quality work and fair pricing, but they definitely did. Customer for 10 plus years.”
“When I first came to Fred's shop he was very kind and honest. I came back to Fred to install a new catalyst converter on my 2013 Honda. Shortly the next day my brother came in for an oil change. I highly recommend this shop. Very honest and kind great customer service!”
