Our story
Rialto's Shop for Engine and Auto Repair
We are a family-run auto repair shop in Rialto, run by owner Jose and service writer Edgar. Customers come to us for engine head rebuilds, alternator and starter replacements, and the kind of straightforward service that keeps them coming back for years.
Cylinder head work is our specialty. We resurface, paint, and rebuild heads with new valves, checking every clearance and using assembly lube on install so the engine is ready to run the moment it goes back into the car.
Whether it is a full head rebuild or a routine repair, we quote it straight, work around your timeline, and treat every car like it is going back to family.

What customers say
“I took my vehicle in because the alternator and starter needed to be replaced. Jose gave me a great quote and the turn around time for the job was quick. This is the 3rd time our family uses GD Auto Repair. We recommend them.”
“Edgar the service writer did a great job taking care of me. It was awesome working with him and the owner on my timeline of when I needed the job complete. My 2007 Yukon XL is running beautiful.”
“Definitely my go to mechanic. I've been going to Jose's shop for years! He's trustworthy, knowledgeable, reasonable, reliable, and adheres to his appointments. Shop around before giving him a call, you'll see! He doesn't disappoint.”
