When a customer found a stained wall behind a toilet, their plumber traced it to a leaking drain and mold growing inside the wall. Gomez Builder & Restoration LLC was called in to remove the mold and rebuild the space once the plumbing was fixed, including opening a second bathroom wall tied to the same drain line.

Owner Gilbert inspected the damage in person and returned the next day with a detailed price for the repair. Once the drain was replaced, the crew removed all the mold they found, including underneath the house where the plumbing work had taken place, then replaced the sheetrock in both bathrooms and retextured and repainted the walls.

The team even sourced matching paint when none was left over from the original job, and finished by vacuuming and wiping down both bathrooms before calling it done. The floor the homeowner expected to replace was saved entirely, keeping the repair contained to the actual damage.
