Our story
Straightforward Tire Service on Soquel Ave
Gondez Tires & Wheels sits on Soquel Ave in Santa Cruz, where we keep the shop stocked with new and used tires for drivers who need a fix now, not next week.
The owner is on the floor most days, and if something needs to be made right, he's the one who does it. We keep a shop dog around too, because good service should feel like the neighborhood, not a chain.
Flat on a Sunday or a screw in your tread while you're passing through town, we'll work you in. Most tire changes are done in under an hour, and simple repairs often take twenty minutes or less.
- Owner personally stands behind every job
- New and used tires in stock
- Open seven days a week
- Same-day repairs and installs
What customers say
“Was on an engagement vacation trip when our tire popped on the freeway. This was the only shop open on Sundays. So we had it towed and the next morning they got it in and out of the shop in less than an hour. $120 for two tires, and I was back on my way home on schedule. I visit Santa Cruz every year and definitely plan on getting a set of tires here next year. Also, the dog was really cute.”
“As always Gondez is the best. Walked in, checked all options for a damaged tire, and had it replaced on the spot for an excellent deal. Stay local, use Gondez!”
“Had a screw in a tire coming down from Citrus Heights, and he told us it would be fixed in 30 minutes. He had it fixed in 20.”
