Fixed right, priced fair, back on the road

We're the brothers who run H & M Muffler & Auto Repair on Paradise Road in Modesto, and we keep it simple: tell you what's actually wrong, fix it right, and charge a price that doesn't make you wince. Customers tell us our rates often come in at a fraction of what other shops in the Central Valley quote — and that's exactly how we want it. We do things a little differently here. If you'd rather buy your own parts from the auto shop of your choice, bring them in and we'll install them. No upsells, no runaround — just straightforward work from people who treat your car like it matters, because to you it does. That approach has earned us a 4.9-star rating from 80 Google reviews, and customers who drive out to Modesto just to have us look at their cars. Stop by Monday through Friday, 8 to 5 — and note that we're a cash shop.
