Our story
About Jim's Desert Radiator & Air Conditioning
We've built our shop on Highway 111 around one idea: tell customers the truth about what their car needs and get it fixed fast. Whether you're a local driver or just passing through Indio when your radiator or AC gives out, our team fits you in and keeps you moving.
Every job starts with a clear diagnosis and real options, not an upsell. If the fix is simple, we say so. If it's more involved, like replacing aging hoses alongside a radiator, we explain why before any work begins.
Our front desk and service bays run on the same standard: treat every car, and every customer, right. That's the reason so many people who walk in once keep coming back.
- Same-day radiator and AC repairs
- Upfront, itemized estimates
- No appointment necessary
- Clean, well-kept service bays
What customers say
“My radiator was starting to leak in a 2014 F250. I went in without an appointment and they did the work the same day. The time and cost estimates to do the work was exactly correct and accurate. They recommended additional hoses be replaced in conjunction with the radiator change, a good suggestion for an 11 year old vehicle. The owner and mechanic were friendly and knowledgeable.”
“I gave them a call right when they opened and spoke to Vern, who was very professional and explained they could fit me in right away. Vern was very upfront with me on costs and timing and did an exceptional job of keeping me well informed on the progress. From start to finish the work was done in about 24 hours and I was back on the road.”
“Wayne at the front desk was extremely pleasant and easy to talk to. They respected my appointment time and my vehicle was being checked out within 3 minutes of my dropping it off. I was relieved to see that they were extremely honest about my problem with my air conditioner and was charged an extremely fair price.”
