Our story
A Family Shop on West 15th Street
JNT Automotive Repair is a family-run shop in downtown Merced. John runs the bays, his wife runs the front counter, and between them you get something that has become rare: a mechanic who picks up the phone, tells you exactly what is wrong with your car, and explains what it will take to fix it before any work begins.
We handle the everyday work — oil changes, brakes, tune-ups — and the stubborn problems other shops send away. Customers regularly bring us intermittent AC faults and steering jobs that were turned down elsewhere. When a repair needs parts, we order them the same day wherever we can, so your car is back on the road instead of sitting in a lot.
Some of our customers came back after years away and found the same two people behind the counter. That is the shop we want to be: one you only have to find once.
