About Main Automotive
Main Automotive is a Santa Maria repair shop run by owner Andy, who handles everything from routine diagnostics to the kind of jobs other shops turn away. Customers have brought in a BMW i8 with no schematics available and a Cadillac recovering from an accident, and both left running like new.
What keeps people coming back is what happens when something does not go as planned. When one customer's car failed its smog check, Andy did not charge for the visit. When a hard-to-find part for another customer's car turned out to be discontinued after the deposit was already paid, the shop refunded it in full and washed the car before it was picked up.
Whether it is a quick fifteen minute smog check or a harder diagnosis, the goal is the same: fix the actual problem, charge for the actual work, and treat every customer like a neighbor.
