Our story
The shop that drives to you
MTS is owner-operated by Marcos, who has been turning wrenches for 16 years. He runs a shop on Gulf Street in Bakersfield and a fully stocked work truck, so whether you can get to us or not, the repair still happens today.
Most of our calls come from people having a bad afternoon: a flat on the freeway, a Tesla with no spare, a car that won't start in the driveway. We answer the phone ourselves, tell you what we can do, and go. Customers regularly tell us we were there inside 30 minutes.
We diagnose before we sell. If your parts are already bought, we'll fit them. If the problem is smaller than you feared, we'll say so. That's the whole business: honest work, done where your car is sitting.
