Drought-Tolerant Landscaping
As drought has intensified across California and consistent rainfall grows less reliable, we must adapt how we create our clients' gardens. As designers, we see this as an exciting opportunity: drought-tolerant landscapes that are bold, beautiful, and respectful of our environment. Since 1953, our designers and contractors have been dedicated to creating a greener tomorrow, and that means being stewards of our Valley's most precious resource: water.
We begin each project by evaluating your landscape's watering systems and finding ways to improve their efficiency, so the maximum amount of water reaches your plants, shrubs, and trees with minimum waste. Along the way, we inform you of potential water savings and rebates available through better design and management of your irrigation, and we look for ways to reduce long-term maintenance so the savings mean fewer headaches, too.
You do not have to sacrifice beauty to save water. Our designers build planting palettes of eye-catching perennials, stunning succulents, and blooming native varieties that give you a gorgeous look season after season. We'll also help you rethink your turf footprint: keeping grass where it gets the most use, and replacing struggling or rarely used lawn with expanded planter beds, artificial turf, added hardscape, or decorative stone. Whether you're transforming the whole garden or taking small steps toward using less water, we are here to help.
