Our story
A Family Business, Old-Fashioned Values
My Garage Auto Repair is a family business through and through. Fernando runs the shop alongside his son Alvaro, with the rest of the family rounding out the team — and it shows in how we treat every customer who walks through the door.
We do business the old-fashioned way: honest hard work, straight answers, and repairs done right the first time. Whether it's a smog check, a new transmission, or a car that needs to be babied through one more year, we walk you through your options and help you make the choice that fits your budget.
Our customers keep coming back — and sending their kids' cars, too — because they know exactly what they're getting: knowledgeable work, fair prices, and a shop that treats their car like it's family.

What customers say
“My experience with this facility was a really good one. This is a family Run Business that does Business the old fashion way. With honest hard work and integrity. This was my first time using this shop but will definitely not be my last. I will be bringing all my vehicles and children's vehicles to Alvaro and his family from now on. Thank you Alvaro for helping me maneuver a delicate situation with my repair.”
“Fernando and his son Alvaro have been our mechanic(s) for over 15 years! They are knowledgeable, friendly, and honest. They have had our backs every time we need help with one of our cars. They have been amazing at helping us with our budget and giving us choices of what is best to do in every car need we have had — the car overheated, needed a smog check, new engine, new transmission, air conditioning, tune ups, and more. We always recommend them and when our car needs to be towed it is always sent here for its repairs.”
“This place is great! I tried several different places and always seemed to be disappointed until I was referred to My Garage. I found my home, Fernando the owner is fantastic, very knowledgeable and many years of experience. His wife and son make up the rest of the staff, they really are wonderful people. I completely trust My Garage with my vehicles and nobody can beat their prices, not for the quality of work that they do.”
