Our story
A Shop Built on Straight Answers
Peppertree Automotive is a Norwalk repair shop where the diagnosis comes before the sales pitch. Customers tell us again and again that what keeps them coming back isn't just the fix: it's knowing exactly what's wrong and why, before any work begins.
That's especially true for drivers who've felt talked down to at other shops. We take the time to explain what we found and what it will take to fix it, so every customer leaves with a clear picture, not just a bill.
Many of our customers have been with us for years, trusting us with the same car visit after visit — including vehicles nearly two decades old that still pass smog and run reliably because of the ongoing care behind them.
- No-pressure, transparent estimates
- In-and-out smog checks, no wasted afternoon
- Same trusted mechanic on every visit
- Reasonably priced repairs, done right the first time
What customers say
“As a girl, it's very difficult to trust a mechanic, but honestly, Ruben was so helpful and transparent about the fixes my car needed and what can be expected pre-inspection of the car. I honestly recommend this shop!”
“Came for a smog check and was in and out within 30 minutes. Fast and professional service. Was not up sold, had no hassle, and paid for the service I only came to do.”
“Ruben has been taking care of my car for the last about 4 years. My car is 18 years old. It passed its smog certification yesterday as smoothly as a top. I really depend on him and his mechanic skills to keep this car going. Plus, he's a very nice fellow. You couldn't ask for more reasonably priced repairs.”
