Straightforward, Honest Auto Repair in Salinas

Progressive Auto Repair is a Salinas shop built on plain answers and fair prices. Customers come back to Jorge and George year after year because they explain what is actually wrong before they touch a wrench, and they will not invent a repair just to run up the bill.

That honesty goes further than most shops are willing to go. When one customer's motor failed just past its warranty window, the team tracked down a lead and got the manufacturer to replace it for free, saving thousands of dollars that a less determined shop would have simply billed out. When another customer's oil pressure light came on, they found the real problem, a sensor, instead of chasing a bigger repair.

Word of mouth brought most of their customers through the door, from other local shops referring tricky jobs to families who have trusted them with every car they have owned. They aim to keep it that way, one honest repair at a time.
