Our story
Straight Answers, Straight From the Shop
At R & A Auto Center, tire and brake work starts with a straightforward look at what's actually wrong with your vehicle. Our techs take the time to show you the problem before recommending a fix, whether that means patching a tire or explaining why it can't be saved.
We handle the everyday jobs that keep cars on the road: brake service, tire mounting, new and used tire sales, and window tinting. When a brake job is quoted at a couple hours, we work to get it done in that window so you're not left waiting around.
We're a Downey shop that would rather earn your business with a fair price and a clear explanation than a hard sell. If we can't fix it, we'll tell you why, and point you toward the option that actually makes sense for your car.
- Techs explain the problem before they fix it

What customers say
“Came in to get a tire patched, and unfortunately it turned out the tire was completely irreparable. Elvis took the time to try multiple times and even showed me exactly what was wrong with it so I could understand why it couldn't be fixed. Even though they couldn't repair the original tire, the customer service was outstanding. He also sold me a replacement tire at a really good price, and the quality was great.”
“Great service, quality work, and fair prices. They said it would be a couple hours to complete Brake job and they called me in two hours and it was ready to be picked up. Imelda was great and represents your shop well. Keep up the great work!!!”
“I called to get a pricing and schedule getting my windows tinted. The price was good and he told me to come on in. He was really nice and did a great job!”
