Our story
A small shop built on straight answers
R&R Automotive is an independent repair shop on Oakdale Road in Modesto, run by Rob. Customers come here after being told one thing somewhere else and finding out it wasn't true: a check engine monitor that won't reset, a diagnosis that never quite fit, an estimate that kept growing. Rob does the diagnostic work himself, tells you what he found, and fixes what actually needs fixing.
That approach shows up in the reviews. One customer's brake estimate came down after Rob assessed the car and found the rear pads didn't need replacing. Another's fuel pump job came in under the original estimate, with a collapsing fuel line replaced and the rest of the car looked over at no extra charge. People bring back the same cars for years, and Rob remembers them.
The shop is easy to miss: the entrance is on Oakdale Road between the smoke shop and CT Transmissions. Drive back to the buildings in the rear.
