Smog Check

A smog check shouldn't eat your whole day. At Richmond Smog Service, the process is built around your schedule: call us, and in many cases we can book you the same day, sometimes within the half hour. One customer called at 9:55 AM, got a 10:30 AM slot, and drove away with a completed test 25 minutes later.

When you arrive, we take your keys promptly and get straight to work. Most tests take 25 to 45 minutes, so you can wait, run an errand on Clement Street, or browse the plant nursery across the road. Reviewers consistently describe the experience the same way: fast, friendly, and professional.

We finish the job properly, too. The documentation you leave with is complete and carefully prepared. One customer called out the "pride and attention to detail" in the paperwork. From needing a smog check to holding your certificate, the whole thing can take less than two hours from your first phone call.
