Our story
A mechanic Bakersfield drivers actually trust
Sanchez Mobile Auto Repair is Jose Sanchez — a mobile mechanic who brings the shop to your driveway. Instead of dropping your car off and waiting days for a call back, you get a mechanic who shows up, finds the problem, and walks you through what he's seeing as he works.
Our customers keep coming back for the same reason: honesty. When a repair isn't needed, we say so. When a part is still under warranty at the dealership, we tell you to take it there. One customer insisted on paying for a diagnosis and we wouldn't take the money — that's simply how we do business.
From parasitic battery draws the dealership wouldn't touch to engine tune-ups, brake master cylinders, and door replacements, we work on new vehicles and old ones alike. And when you need to get in quickly, we make room.
- Mobile service — we come to your vehicle
- Repairs on both new and classic vehicles

What customers say
“Jose Sanchez was incredibly thorough and honest when diagnosing the issue with my car. He took the time to explain everything clearly and never tried to upsell or pressure me into unnecessary repairs. What stood out most was that he didn't even charge me for the diagnosis, despite me insisting. It's hard to find genuinely honest people in this industry, and Jose is one of them.”
“Jose was able to help me out greatly on such short notice and is the most personable, honest and thorough mechanic I've done business with! I will definitely be taking my car to him in the future for repairs and highly recommend anyone in Bakersfield to use his services.”
“I would highly recommend Jose Sanchez to do any mechanic work. He's very professional, knowledgeable and reliable. Can't say enough good things about this man. He also takes the time to explain things as he goes.”
