Our story
The Tire Shop Merced Keeps Coming Back To
We're Schoettler Tire, a tire and alignment shop on East Childs Avenue in Merced. Families around here have trusted us with their vehicles for years, and the reason is simple: we tell you what your car actually needs, price it fairly, and get it done quickly and properly.
The details matter to us. We torque every wheel to spec, our alignment tech listens to your concerns before the car ever goes on the rack, and we keep long wood planks on hand so even lowered cars can get up safely. When a customer's backhoe broke a bead on a job site, we had someone out to patch it within twenty minutes.
Stop by Monday through Friday, 7 AM to 5 PM, or call ahead and we'll get you taken care of.
- Every wheel torqued to spec
- Alignment rack that welcomes lowered cars
- On-site help for equipment tires
What customers say
“If you need tires, alignments, or anything else they offer, don't look any further. They have always been great with anything that I have had them do. They are always honest and very reliable. Today, Izzy worked on my car. He went above and beyond. The prices were great and the work was exceptional.”
“Honest business. Good pricing, quick and proper service. I have been here for both tire and alignment services and I really appreciate that they torque wheels to spec and their alignment tech, Izzy, hears me out on alignment concerns/requests and delivers on a quality alignment.”
“Schoettler Tire really saved my butt. After getting on the job site and starting up the backhoe I back up and the front tire breaks a bead and comes off the rim. Brian at Schoettler had Mike come out within 20min to patch me up for a very reasonable price.”
