Our story
Honest Work, Every Time
SRS Automotive has been fixing cars in El Monte for years, first from a small shop on Rosemead Blvd and now from our current location on Peck Rd. Customers who found us back then still bring us their cars today — some have followed James for over 20 years.
We tell you what your car actually needs, not what pads our invoice. Drop your car off, and we'll call you with a clear diagnosis and a fair price before we touch a thing.
Whether it's a routine oil change or a full repair, we treat every car like it's going to be driven by someone we know — because for most of our customers, it is.
- Same trusted mechanic for 20+ years
- Never sells you parts you don't need
- Loyal, multi-generation customer base
- Moved from Rosemead Blvd to serve you better
What customers say
“I've been going to James with my cars repairs for over 20 years. He may not be the cheapest but he is the most honest, competent and reliable mechanic. I usually just leave him the car and he'll tell me the cost later. Your car is in good hands.”
“James and his staff are amazing at SRS Automotive! My family and I have been customers of this establishment before they moved to their current location. The thing I love about this place is that they're honest unlike other auto shops. He's upfront about everything that you need, not what you don't need.”
“My most recent experience was the purchase of tires for my vehicle. James, as usual did not try to sell me the most expensive, just the best that I needed. I respect and trust James and his crew. Thank you James for being honest and hard working.”
