Our story
A Repair Shop That Explains Before It Fixes
We're Star One Auto, a full-service repair shop on Highland Ave in San Bernardino. Under new management, we've rebuilt our shop around one idea: tell customers what's actually wrong with their car, price it fairly, and fix it right the first time.
Whether it's a routine oil change or a transmission that's slipping when you shift, our team walks you through the issue before any work starts — no pressure, no upselling. We'd rather earn a repeat customer than a one-time invoice.
We're a small, hands-on team. If you show up right before closing with a flat tire, chances are someone will still stop what they're doing to help you out.
- New ownership, renewed focus on honest service
- Clear, upfront pricing — no upselling
- Fast turnaround on repairs and oil changes
- Hands-on team that explains every repair
What customers say
“I had a great experience at Star One Auto. The team was professional, honest, and really took the time to explain what was going on with my car without making me feel pressured. The service was quick and the pricing was fair, which is hard to find these days.”
“I was a little skeptical about coming here after seeing some older negative reviews. But I learned the shop is now under new management, so I decided to give it a chance. They explained the issue clearly and were upfront about the pricing. The repair was done quicker than I expected and my car has been running great since.”
“Great customer service, Jose and his son Louie are an excellent team, they managed to fix other issues that other mechanics made as well as what I brought it for (my brakes). The whole team here knows what they're doing.”
