Our story
A Father and Son Body Shop Built on Word of Mouth
Stuggarts Auto Collision is run by Vince and his son Gabriel out of Downey, where they handle everything from bumper repair to full collision rebuilds and color matched paint work. Customers come back for years and send their families in behind them because the car goes out looking like the accident never happened.
Gabriel's paint work has caught attention beyond Downey. He was featured on Motor Trend, and the shop has repainted vehicles ranging from a Ford Raptor to a Bentley with the same attention to detail as every daily driver that comes through the door.
We stay in close contact throughout the repair, answer questions quickly, and can help set up a rental car so you are never stuck without a vehicle while yours is in the shop.
- Father and son owned and operated
- Color matched paint on every job
- Gabriel featured on Motor Trend
- Rental car coordination while your car is repaired

“I couldn't have been any more happy with the results. They are very friendly, helpful, and always quick to answer questions and communicate with you about the status of your vehicle being repaired. You can't even tell that my bumper was broken. My car looks brand new again. The paint job is exactly the same color as my car.”
“This business was amazing! They were professional and speedy! My car went in as a disaster after a rear ended accident and came out amazing!!! Trustworthy, speedy and kept me updated. They even set up my rental.”
