Our story
A Bakersfield body shop run by one family
Superior Collision Repair is family owned and operated. Alex leads the shop floor, his wife Myra sources the right parts and works directly with insurance adjusters, and Rebecca keeps customers informed in the office. It's a small team by design: the same people who quote your repair are the ones who finish it.
Our customers describe Alex as a perfectionist, and we'll own that. Every vehicle gets checked over before it goes back out the door: color match verified, dents and scratches addressed, the repair made invisible. From a fender bender on a late-model car to rust removal, metal work, and a full repaint on a 1973 Chevy pickup, we take on both older and newer vehicles.
We also try to make a bad week easier. We keep you updated through the repair, answer every question, and have been known to drive customers to and from the rental counter. Most repairs are back in your hands quickly, and priced well below what a dealership will quote.
- Family owned and operated
- Insurance adjusters handled in-house
- Classic and late-model vehicles
- Exact paint color matching
What customers say
“Great body shop, Alex and his father did an excellent job on my 1973 Chevy pickup. Rust removal, metal repair, and paint inside and out. They also repaired some damage from the tow truck company that transported it. Looks like a brand new truck. Highly recommend, they definitely know what they are doing with both older and newer vehicles.”
“We had a fender bender and I'm so glad went to Superior! Family owned and they earn these great reviews! Professional quality work. We won't go anywhere else!!! Price was half what the dealership quoted us!”
“I highly recommend Superior! Excellent service and remarkable craftsmanship. My new car looks as if I never had been in an accident. My paint is perfectly matched. I had my car back in approximately a week. Alex and is staff are kind, considerate and make you feel welcomed.”
