About Toby's Auto Repair
At Toby's Auto Repair, we get to the bottom of problems other shops give up on. When one customer's engine was blamed for an issue a tire shop couldn't diagnose, we found the real problem and got her back on the road.
We believe you deserve to understand what's happening under the hood, not just pay for it. Every repair comes with a plain-language explanation of what was done and why.
We're an independent, owner-run shop on West Main Street, and we handle the everyday car trouble that keeps Turlock moving.
- Finds problems other shops miss
- Explains every repair, no jargon

What customers say
“Toby was extremely kind and helpful. He figured out a problem we have had for over a year. The tire place couldn't find out what the issue was, they said it was my engine. After looking into it, Toby found the issue and we were able to get it fixed. Thank you for your expertise.”
“One of the most trusted mechanics in Turlock, no BS-ing around. He gets the job done. Always takes the time to explain to his customers what kind of service was done on their vehicle. I highly recommend Toby's Auto!”
“Best place in town! Toby really helped when I was in a jam, thank you brother!”
