Serious Fencing Instruction, Right Here in Oakland

United Fencers of Oakland is a fencing school on MacArthur Blvd, teaching students who want to learn the sport from the ground up.

Our classes are led by instructor Guillaume, whose patient, hands-on approach has made him a favorite with local families. One student trained with us for three years before his family moved out of the area.

Whether you're picking up a foil for the first time or looking to sharpen your bladework, we bring the same close attention to every student who walks through our door.
